100

That’s how many US soldiers died in Iraq in October (which still has a day or so left, of course.)

I couldn’t find the number of Iraqis who have died, but it was over 300 police and militia alone during Ramadan. Hundreds of civilians die every week.

We aren’t fixing this.

NO, we aren’t fixing this, but I am a firm believer that we can’t just pull our troops out and leaved the Iraqies to finish what we started. It’s hell!

Everytime I read those numbers I think I must be reading the same story from yesterday. I check and find out, no, it’s another 60 or 70 dead. Yeah, we’re fixing things real well on both sides of the world, aren’t we?

No, we’re not fixing it and I don’t see how we can. But I agree that we can’t just pull out now that we’ve destroyed the infrastructure and unilaterally tried to turn the country into a democracy. I wish I knew what we SHOULD do.
