MWF seeking table & chairs
Why is it so hard to find dining room furniture? I know what I like, and more importantly, I know what I don’t like. I’ve been finding a whole lotta “don’t like” out there.
I want something contemporary, but it seems like what I’m finding is cheaply made, too small, too stark, or waaay too expensive.
A simple but classy and well-made dining set, sturdy table and chairs, sleek looking china cabinet. Where are you?
UPDATE: We found it!! Yay oh yay! Pat and I went out to with plans to go to two furniture stores on Route Hell 22 and amazingly, only had to go to one. In fact the Perfect Dining Room® was right inside the front door at Fortunoff (there’s good reason they call themselves “The Source”!) It’s well made, contemporary in style, dark in wood, and the upholstery will look awesome with the new rug. I need it for Christmas Eve, and I thought hey, that’s well over a month away, no problem.
They’re shipping it here on December 19. Sure am glad I didn’t wait another week!

So where’s the link showing us what it looks like? Do you mean we have to wait for pictures of the real thing in your home?
