I’m feeling slightly better. Still feels like my head is stuffed with styrofoam, but as long as I don’t try to do much I’m ok. It’s not much fun loading and unloading my washer and dryer, in all their front-loading but not pedestaled goodness, but when I move slowly it works.

Wow, has this week been a waste, though! I’m all over Tim to wash his hands, (…you turn the page, wash your hands. Turn the page, wash your hands. Turn the page, wash your hands…”) as often as he can, because heaven help me if the boy is sick next week and I’m stuck home again!

I’m going to drag my butt out tomorrow no matter how awful I feel, though, we’re having a meeting here Monday and I need a new lamp and lampshade. Don’t ask.

Also, my rug is still not here, apparently the package is “short.” How can a package of one item be “short”? I don’t know. But I have people in Chicago, Newark, and Mexico, Missouri on the case. Unfortunately it snowed in Chicago and Missouri, so they’re not much help. At least that’s the excuse the guy in Chicago gave me.

I made a deal with my trash collectors today, they’ll pick up whatever trash we stick at the curb on Tuesday, and I’ll give them an early Christmas gift. Hope the truck is pretty empty when they get here…
