Destiny scopes out the enemy

Wednesday, March 21st, 2007

I bought a Dyson vacuum. It was a great deal (at Kohl’s). I put it together and used it today.

It’s nice, as vacuums go, but it’s still just a vacuum. It keeps the dust inside and it’s pretty easy to maneuver. The best part is the nice long hose for the attachments. My old vacuum had such a short hose I had to lift the machine up to reach all the ceiling cobwebs.

So exciting, eh? That’s ok, this post was only an excuse to show you this picture of The Cutest Dog In The World®.

78degrees.jpg

Believe it or not the temperature is 78 degrees right now. I ran around installing window screens, then took a walk around the yard and realized that the crocuses survived construction after all!

Also found one of those missing bees.

The moon looked so pretty sitting up there in the tree!

Our Christmas tree ready for the Big Man in Red.

The house all lit up so the reindeer can find us!

Destiny’s not the best at posing for pictures. Usually she jumps up at the camera for some reason. I took these with a zoom. She was chewing her nails, ignoring me, and I called her name quietly just before snapping this shot. A second later she was in my face.

Thought this shot of my doggie came out pretty well. I’m going to try to take lots of photos over the holidays, take advantage of this nice camera!

Calling Tippi Hendron

I heard a noise on my roof that sounded like pouring rain. But it’s not raining. Looked out the window to find a gazillion black birds everywhere. On my roof, in the trees, on the ground. And they were loud!

This doesn’t do the experience justice, but it gives you an idea. Sound on for the full effect.
